Not all of the games are smash hits (some are actually kinda crappy) but I added titles which are have some historic/artistic/novelty merit. Naturally it is subjective, and these are just games that I consider worthwhile. ![]() I have tried to include most major games from major manufacturers/developers as well as some minor titles/devs. I've created several lists for my arcade cabinet and split them into playlists based on control type and display orientation. I already found Rygar, which is a neat game that wasn't on it. I guess the 3d games just all have to go.Īny suggestions for how to curate lists? Alternatively, I'll just start collecting good roms that aren't in this batch file yet. Also, a lot of games in the batch file are badly supported and don't actually work right. However, MAME has had quite a few version numbers between then and now, so I'm sure a lot of worthwhile games have been added. I have since set up the games included in the batch file the thread creator made. ![]() There are so many bad or cloned roms out there that it's hard to find a starting point for curating roms. ![]() I recently started working on it and found that the biggest issue wasn't actually getting my hands on roms, but separating the wheat from the chaff. I've been wanting to make a dedicated MAME installation for a while.
